Tourist resort – Camp Pivka jama is situated in the south-west of Slovenia, in the Notranjska region., 4 km from Postojna. Set in genuine Dinaric forest just beside the entrance pit of the Pivka Cave, cosy bungalows and a nicely arranged campground can welcome as many as 700 visitors. TURISTIČNA KMETIJA PRI ANDREJEVIH (ANDREJEVI TOURIST FARM), Narin 75, Narin
The farm covers 12 hectares (about 30 acres) of meadows and pastures, including some fields and forests. Andrejevi is a family of four – the farmer, the lady of the house and their two daughters, both students at university. They are stock breeders, they have about 10-15 cattle, four horses and about four times a year a new calf, which is particularly interesting for children. In the production of food they follow the standards for organic farming. Their homebred vegetables, meat and fruit are always served in a pleasant ambiance. They like to surprise guests with seasonal food from their “grandmother’s kitchen”. They are famous for their pršut (prosciutto) in wine, veal stew, roast meat, typical Slovenian food (e.g. njoki, štruklji, and mlinci), delicious desserts and a rich wine collection.
